Used Book Sales: Used Book Sales of the Friends of Auburn Library resumed in July of 2022. The used book sales are 9am-3pm on the first Tuesday and the following Saturday of each month except when interrupted by holidays. Donations are accepted during the sales. Donations are also accepted on the following Tuesdays & Saturdays from 9am-1pm. Do NOT leave books on days when the annex is closed. (Click here for more information on the used book sale)
Noon Speaker Program: A staple of the Friends of Auburn Library since the 1970’s when Jean Couzens, head librarian, came up with the idea to invite members of the community, especially working people, to the library during their lunch hour. Fridays 12–1 p.m in the Beecher Room.
Great Books: Program for readers interested in selections from the Great Books Foundation. Join us on the second Tuesdays of the month from 1-3 pm in the Beecher Room. (Click here to see more information on this program)
Annual Dinner and Raffle: Exciting annual dinner and raffle program January 26, 2025. Two hundred plus patrons enjoy aa great evening celebrating the FOL's Annual Dinner. The event includes a tasty assortment of appetizers, great food at The Ridge Event Center along with a nice selection raffle items and this year we are adding a short live auction with some very nice items. All proceeds benefit the library. Join the fun and become a sponsor.
Reading in the Classroom: A volunteer program for reading to elementary children. Each Volunteer reader chooses his/ her own reading material to read to a class (grades K-5), spending about 30 minutes with the students.
